Join room
Joins a meeting room with a fresh anonymous participant identity on each request. This endpoint does not provide stable identity or rejoin continuity. Returns a credential-bearing final_link.
Join or rejoin with stable external identity POST
Joins or rejoins an active room using a stable external identity. The same project, room and external_user_id reuse one opaque participant_id. Supplied supported user_metadata fields update the participant; omitted fields and lock keys retain their current values. Role changes remain subject to meeting ownership rules. Returns participant_id and a credential-bearing final_link; issuing a new link does not revoke earlier credentials. Invalid identity or metadata, wrong project scope, inactive rooms, and identity conflicts are rejected.
Redeem protected invitation for an external user POST
Redeems a protected invitation for an external user in an active room. Validates the token, project, room, and recipient when restricted, then applies the invitation's stored role. Requires name and external_user_id; role/admin/hidden overrides are rejected. Returns a credential-bearing final_link and opaque participant_id, which is retained on repeated redemption by the same user in the same room. Inactive rooms and expired or revoked invitations cannot be redeemed; previously issued credentials are not revoked.
